HBA Mission Statement
Healthcare Business Associates mission is to develop and support a network of independent companies willing to commit their business services to the healthcare providers’ specific requirements.
Healthcare Business Associates (an independent privately owned company), the creator, owner and monitor of the Healthcare Business Associates accreditation program was founded for the express purpose of becoming a voice for healthcare ARM companies that have been certified by independent surveyors. For years HFMA, hospitals and physicians have all recognized certification and accreditation programs. Out of this the focus the accreditation program commenced.
HBA is devoted to the development of a network of companies that will provide exclusive business services to hospitals, physicians, billing partners and healthcare ancillary services. Our objective is to lead the way in filling this need.
We believe that now is the time for ARM companies that have served the healthcare industry to be recognized as experienced specialists. Patients need clarification of why they are responsible for share of cost for healthcare services (i.e. share of cost etc.). The accreditation program will ensure that patient, counselors, clerical and collection personnel have been specially trained in resolving these matters.
